Meet Dr. Robert Todd Bergman

Oral Surgeon in Columbus, IN

Dr. Robert T. Bergman is originally from Kokomo, Indiana. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1990. Upon graduation, he completed a four year Post Doctoral Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following a residency in 1994, Dr. Bergman joined Columbus Oral and  Maxillofacial Surgery in Columbus, Indiana.  He also served as the Staff Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for Riley Hospital Craniofacial Clinic from 1994-1998.

Dr. Bergman was certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1996 and re-certified in 2006. From 2008-2012, he served on the board of Volunteers in Medicine, a local health clinic providing care for low income, uninsured patients. He has been serving the Volunteers in Medicine Clinic as a volunteer oral surgeon since the clinic’s inception in 1996. Additionally, Dr. Bergman has served on the board of the Indiana Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and was acting President in 2003.  He is currently on staff at Columbus Regional Hospital. 

Dr. Bergman is involved in the Columbus Regional Dental Society. He resides in Columbus, Indiana with his wife and four children.
